    8th Grade Benefit Concert for Ukraine

    CPC
    The 8th graders are hosting a Classical & Holiday Concert to benefit the Ukraine Medical Relief Fund featuring AC alum Katha Zinn and her husband, Ukrainian-born pianist Illya Filshtinskiy, both Juilliard-trained. AC's Middle & Upper School choruses will also perform.

    Kindergarten Bake Sale

    The bake sale is a community service project that is based on our current PBL in Kindergarten. Our students choose a cause that is near and dear to their hearts and does good for our community. Generally, we raise $1,000 to help our Rochester neighbors. More information will be sent out closer to the date - but please mark your calendars for this annual fundraiser!

    Lower School Concert

    CPC
    Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students will perform music and dance selections, demonstrating their learning in music classes. In addition to the full-class performances, the 5th Grade Band members will give their first performance of the year. Performers are asked to dress up for this special occasion and arrive between 6:30 and 6:45. All are welcome as we kick off this festive season!

    AC3s/Pre-K Color Day Red

    Once a month the Nursery and Pre-K students wear a specific color or pattern as they learn about different colors, shapes and patterns in their classrooms. Please join us in helping our youngest students celebrate the color or pattern of the month and wear what's specified in the calendar listing above!

    Weekend Workshop - Jewelry Making For the Holidays

    Need a gift for the Holidays? Design and make your own jewelry with Siomara Lorenzo, Lower School Spanish Teacher at Allendale Columbia! In this weekend workshop, a few of the projects you can choose from are painted wooden earrings, macrame earrings, themed faux leather tassel earrings, polymer clay bracelets and necklaces, and more!
    Once all your creations have been brought to life, we will gift wrap them in festive gift bags and beautiful bows!

    Junior Forum

    Every year, each Upper School class chooses a topic and speakers, researches the issue, and presents a “forum” to the student body during an assembly. The forums are observed by our guest panelists, including board members, alums, and former trustees. Participating students are judged on timeliness, appropriateness, thoroughness, and quality of presentation.

    Middle & Upper School Winter Concert

    CPC
    Performance ensembles in the Middle and Upper School will delight the AC community with musical selections from their first-semester repertoire. Attire for performers is formal, concert black & white, and arrival time for performers is 6:30. All are welcome!

    Holiday Breakfast (No School) - Rainbow Room Open 10-6 Little School is Open

    Gannett Gym
    Holiday Breakfast is an annual event, which brings all students, families, faculty, and staff together to celebrate the holidays and reflect upon who we are as a community. The program takes place in the Gannett Gym; afterwards, everyone is invited to the Dining Commons for refreshments. There is no bus service or classes on this day. Adults are asked to park in the back parking lots. School officially closes at 10:30 a.m. and marks the beginning of Holiday Break.
     

    PACK Ice Skating Event

    AC Community Ice skating at DICK's House of Sport
    Located at Eastview Mall in Victor
    12:00-2:00 p.m.
    The rink is reserved for AC families only and will be closed to the general public.
