The seventh-grade trip to Camp Pathfinder for the 2026-2027 school year is scheduled from Monday, September 28th to Friday, October 2nd. Students will leave Allendale Columbia early on the morning of September 28th and return on the evening of Friday, October 2nd. At Camp Pathfinder, the students will participate in outdoor education activities supervised by the camp’s trained staff. Camp Pathfinder is remote and rustic, and is located on Pathfinder Island in Algonquin Park’s Source Lake, approximately forty minutes from Huntsville, Ontario. Upstate Images will be taking our school pictures this fall on Tuesday, October 6. Order forms will be sent home, or you can order here online in advance. Online ordering will still be available for 48 hours after picture day. Orders placed after that will be shipped to your home for a small fee. Please note that paper order forms cannot be accepted after picture day.

Time to celebrate the Class of 2027! Seniors will join us for AC’s traditional Senior Breakfast as we kick off the year, connect with classmates, and look ahead to the legacy they’ll leave behind.

All Upper School students will participate in morning standardized testing from
8:15–11:30 a.m. Upper School classes are canceled for the day. 9th: PSAT 8/9 10th: PreACT 11th: PSAT/NMSQT 12th: SAT School Day (registration required)
Students should bring a fully charged laptop, approved calculator, #2 pencils, water, and a snack. Lunch and grade-level community-building activities will follow testing.

The Class Forum is an established Allendale Columbia School tradition introduced by the headmistress of the Columbia school, Mrs. Della Simpson, in 1946 to help students practice making arguments about current issues and to give the school community the opportunity to have a civil discussion about sensitive topics.
