Upcycled Junk with Ms. Crowe
Grades K-5 | 3:20 p.m.-4:30 p.m.
Did you know that you can use materials from your recycling bin to create works of art and handmade treasures? During this class, we will reuse materials that would normally be tossed away and turn tin cans into snowmen and bird feeders, cereal boxes into journals, and plastic bottle caps into a fun tic-tac-toe game. We will get crafty and repurpose fabric, paper scraps, and old cards to design gift tags, note cards, and greeting cards. As we create throughout the weeks, we will explore ways to Reduce-Reuse-Recycle to help the environment.
