Artsy Cats 4.0 with Ms. King
Grades PreK-6 | 3:30-4:30
Join Ms. King, AC Kindergarten teacher, for an exciting after-school art adventure where creativity, curiosity, and a love of cats come together! In this playful program, students will explore the styles of famous artists through imaginative, hands-on projects. Students will imagine playful cats leaping into Alma Thomas’s vibrant paintings to create Meowlma Thomas–inspired abstract mosaics, and design bold, Ben-Day dot felines in the style of Roy Lichtenstein, resulting in fun Roy Kittenstein–style comic creations.
In these engaging, hands-on sessions, students will discover fascinating facts about celebrated artists while exploring the whimsical world of feline-inspired art. Using a variety of art mediums, students will spark creativity, build imagination, and create unique 2-D and 3-D masterpieces that bring their ideas to life. This fun program encourages artistic exploration, self-expression, and joyful creativity in every session.


LEGO Lab with Mr. Godkin

Do you love building with LEGO? Join our exciting AC After 3 program, open to students in grades 3–8! Throughout the session, we will meet for an hour of creativity, problem-solving, and fun. Each session offers something new—whether it’s free building your own unique creations, taking on exciting design and building challenges against your friends, or working together to complete official LEGO sets. The program is designed to encourage imagination, teamwork, and hands-on learning while giving you the chance to show off your skills and pick up new ones along the way. Whether you’re an experienced LEGO builder or just getting started, this club is the perfect place to explore your ideas, take on challenges, and have fun in a supportive, creative environment. Space is limited, so don’t miss your chance to be part of this awesome LEGO adventure!

Winter Wonderland Crafts with Ms. McEneany❄️♥️
Grades K-5 | 3:30-4:30 Get ready for two months of creative fun! Winter Wonder Crafts is designed for students who love to imagine, explore, and get crafty. In January, we will dive into snow-themed projects—like sparkling snowflakes, snowmen, and fluffy winter creations. Each week brings a new hands-on activity that helps kids learn new art skills while having a blast. February turns festive with Valentine’s Day crafts! Students will create heartfelt cards, friendship gifts, colorful décor, and sweet keepsakes perfect for sharing with someone special. Join me for a winter full of creativity, color, and crafty adventures!
Rainbows and Unicorns with Ms. Crowe

Do rainbows and unicorns capture your imagination? Then step into the whimsical world of shimmering rainbows and magical unicorns! In this class we will create colorful crafts, engage in imaginative stories and creative movement. We will also explore science through simple experiments and discover the magic of rainbows! During our final class, we will set off on an Enchanting Scavenger Adventure!

Join Brooklyn Robot Foundry for Robot Builders! We’ll blend creativity and STEAM as kids build real working robots each week – complete with lights, sounds, or movement! Through engaging, hands-on lessons, they’ll learn engineering basics, boost problem-solving skill,s and leave every class proud, inspired, and holding their custom creation.
Creative Dance with Ms. Smiarowski

Stretch, jump, leap, turn, and create cool new shapes with your body!
This multi-sensory class nurtures creativity, imagination, and joyful expression. Through dance and music, children explore movement concepts, develop motor skills, strengthen the brain and body, and connect with others. The class includes a full body and brain warm-up called the “BrainDance.” We often dance with instruments, scarves, stretchy streamers, and other interesting props. No previous experience is needed, and the class is open to all genders and abilities. My goal is to provide each student with the tools they need to grow and develop through movement.
Thursdays: January 15th - February 12th
Raiders of the Lost Pyramids with Ms. King

Travel back in time and explore the wonders of Ancient Egypt! In this hands-on AC After 3, students will uncover the secrets of the pyramids, investigate tomb robbers using hieroglyphs, and even try out the art of mummification with captivating science experiments. Each week brings a new discovery—creating sacred scarabs, digging like real archaeologists, and playing ancient board games. Through hands-on activities, experiments, games, and stories, kids will experience the fascinating world of pharaohs, pyramids, and the mighty Nile River. Get ready to explore, create, and bring history to life! **There will not be a session on February 12th**
Return to DND with Ms. Offord and Mr. Youngblut
Grades 3-6 | 3:15-4:30
This session welcomes returning and new adventurers alike. If you attended any of our previous AC After 3 DnD sessions, join us to continue the adventure. If you are new, sign up to be part of a welcoming group who will teach you how to play. We will meet magical creatures, challenge foes, and explore unknown worlds all from the comfort of a cozy classroom right here at AC. Game materials will be provided.
