One of Allendale Columbia’s more recent beloved traditions is our annual school-wide Heritage Dinner. We value and honor the diversity of people from all backgrounds and traditions; we also love to celebrate different heritage within our own school community. This special event of unity focuses on inclusivity where students and their families come together to share potluck dinners together.
The AC Skibots will present their ideas on how technology and the arts can increase access to the joy of skiing through the use of virtual reality. They will also test their Lego robot and code to complete special missions.
This is an event for the Upper School hosted by the Global Engagement Club. AC alum Nate Yax '18 will be sharing a presentation on his recent experience working and helping people in the Ukraine, and will answer any questions students may have.
Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students will perform music and dance selections, demonstrating their learning in music classes. In addition to the full-class performances, the 5th Grade Band members will give their first performance of the year. Performers are asked to wear clothes conducive to movement (or uniform if it's easier) and arrive between 6:30 and 6:45. All are welcome as we kick off this festive season!
Our PACK Community Connection will feature Assistant Athletic Director Cory Lamberton. From 4-4:30 p.m., Cory will share details about our athletic program, our facilities, and then you're invited to stay for the HAC Varsity basketball game (beginning at 4:30 p.m.) and see part of the program in action!
We'll be featuring new "WOLF PACK" t-shirts for purchase at $15 each and cheering on our athletes. All families in the AC community from Little School to Upper School are invited and we hope to see you there! Please note: we will be meeting in the Gannett Gym, so please use the athletics entrance behind the main buildings. GO WOLVES!

Once a month the Nursery and Pre-K students wear a specific color or pattern as they learn about different colors, shapes and patterns in their classrooms. Please join us in helping our youngest students celebrate the color or pattern of the month and wear what's specified in the calendar listing above!
Performance ensembles in the Middle and Upper School will delight the AC community with musical selections from their first-semester repertoire. Attire for performers is formal, concert black & white, and arrival time for performers is 6:30. All are welcome!
Holiday Breakfast is an annual event, which brings all students, families, faculty, and staff together to celebrate the holidays and reflect upon who we are as a community. The program takes place in the Gannett Gym; afterwards, everyone is invited to the Dining Commons for refreshments. There is no bus service or classes on this day. Adults are asked to park in the back parking lots. School officially closes at 10:30 a.m. and marks the beginning of Holiday Break.
