Tuesdays:

Myth Detectives
3:30–4:30 p.m. | Grades 1-5
September 15 – October 20
Calling all curious mythology fans! Join us as we travel around the world to uncover the fascinating stories, heroes, monsters, and legends that have captivated people for thousands of years. Each session is packed with hands-on activities, games, creative projects, and interactive challenges that bring mythology to life.
As young detectives, students will solve mysteries, create artifacts, and explore myths from a variety of cultures. Along the way, they'll build background knowledge, expand their vocabulary, strengthen reading comprehension, and develop critical thinking skills — all while having fun and letting their imaginations soar.
Whether your child already loves mythology or is discovering it for the first time, Myth Detectives is an unforgettable adventure into the world's greatest stories!

Thursdays

Dungeons and Dragons--Join the Adventure!
3:30–4:30 p.m. | Grades 3-8
September 17 – October 22
Welcome to D&D 2026-27! We've been adventuring for three years now — with excitement, imagination, and cooperation at the center of the table. This year we will welcome our usual mix of new and returning players from grades 3 and up. We will begin our story at level 8, where our player-characters were at the end of last year. New players will be given special support to join right in and play along with the new story as it unfolds.

Dungeons & Dragons is led by Dave Youngblut, AC 3rd grade teacher.

Let's Get Fancy!
3:15–4:15 p.m. | PreK-Grade 2
September 17 – October 22
Bonjour! Do you love all things fancy? Then come twirl, sparkle, and create with Miss Crowe as we step into the fabulous world of the Fancy Nancy books by Jane O'Connor!

Each week we will enjoy one of Fancy Nancy's delightful stories before creating dazzling crafts sprinkled with glitter, sequins, ribbons, and plenty of pinks, purples, and sparkle. We will learn a few fancy words and French words, dance and celebrate all the things that make us unique and fabulous.

Tiaras, boas, fancy dresses, bow ties, sparkly shoes, or any favorite fancy accessories are always welcome (but never required)!
To celebrate the last class in the fanciest way possible, we will have a Soirée. So put on your fanciest smile and join me for an afternoon filled with imagination, creativity, and fun!
